These Smoky Quartz mini points are what happens when a see through crystal decides to keep a little shadow.

That’s what I love most about Smoky Quartz. It’s Clear Quartz’s moodier sibling, the same crystal at heart but wearing soft browns and greys like smoke caught in glass, and these four little points wear it beautifully, each one different, some barely misted, some properly stormy in colour.

The real magic is inside them though. Every point is full of tiny crackles, the same kind you find in Clear Quartz, and they mostly keep themselves to themselves until you hold one up against the light, when the whole lot suddenly sparkles at once and this little 3cm point turns out to have a whole extra dimension hiding in it, and finding out what yours does in the light is part of the fun.

Smoky Quartz has a job to match the shadow it kept, because this is one of the great grounding crystals, the steady one, known for anchoring you when everything feels up in the air.
