This Garnet bracelet looks almost black until you get up close or light gets behind it, which makes it rather magical.

Get closer and the burgundy starts appearing at the edges of the discs where they are thinnest, and if you hold the bracelet up to a window or a lamp the whole bracelet changes, because the light goes straight through and every bead comes up a deep, glowing, wine red.
