Not one chip on this chakra necklace is the same shape as any other chip on it, which is the whole reason it’s worth looking at closely.

Round beads are made to match each other, and chips have no interest in that whatsoever and ignore the rule books. Each one keeps whatever shape it happened to be, so you get flat ones and chunky ones sitting side by side, some fanning out like little wedges and some almost square, and there’s variety inside each colour too, once you start noticing. The Carnelian runs from bright orange right down to the palest peach, the Amethyst has chips that are deep purple sitting beside chips so pale they’re nearly clear, the Hematite is dark metallic grey with pitted, speckled surfaces, and the Sodalite varies from the usual speckle blue and white to the more whiter pieces.
